We open up the first SCW/ABW joint supershow with Major Pain! He comes out and introduces us all to The Gauntlet and he wants to bring out the last ABW Champion Mr. Hardcore Chris Stone.
Stone comes out and says “it’s been 10 years since I was in an ABW ring” but before he could continue his archrival and SCW Champion Wally Whackit interrupts him. Wally calls MRH a “punk ass bitch” and this leads to a scuffle between the two men. MRH goes to superkick Wally but Wally is able to duck out of the ring and head to the back while MRH holds his belt high.

Commentator Jim Solie then brings us to the start of The Gauntlet match itself. Out first is ABW United States Champion The Saint followed by SCW Intercontinental Champion Sombra!
The two lock up and Saint gets the early advantage using his size. Sombra is able to use his quickness though to turn the tide but after a few minute Saint nails Sombra with “The Halo” and eliminates Sombra via pinfall.

Out next is Blue Ram who lasted all of 20 seconds in the ring as he gets hit with a big boot and “Halo” by the Saint and is eliminated.

The 3rd entrant is Antonio Rigatano, the SCW Central Wisconsin Champion. He arrives with much gusto and takes a quick advantage but after trying to lock in the “Sicilian Stranglehold” The Saint is able to reverse the move in “The Halo” and pin Rigatano. Saint though appears to hit his head on “The Sicilian Strangler’s” hip and might have a concussion.

This plays well for the next entrant, Biohazard as he deviously pokes Saint in the eye knowing his vision might already be blurry. Biohazard makes the mistake of being too confident and Saint uses a takedown to position Biohazard into “The Judas Lock” forcing “The Chernobyl Child” to tap out! After the match Saint gets a measure of revenge as he knocks Biohazard down outside of the ring and locks him in the “Judas Lock” once again.

While that is going on the 5th entrant Nathan Knight makes his way down! The possible odds on favorite besides Saint and Punisher, Knight is exuding confidence as he feels it is his time to be the ABW Ace. Knight and Saint tangle but Knight’s quickness and freshness is too much for the Saint as Knight hits him with a flying clothesline from the second rope and follows that up with “The Endless Knights” finisher for the win.

Out next is the long awaited debut of “Jumping for Joy” Mickey McOlroy! He dances his way around the ring and into our hearts….speaking of hearts he surprises Knight with a couple quick old school heart punches. They don’t much hurt Knight as much as they just surprise him. Mick presses his Irish lukc one too many times and the third punch is caught by Knight who plants Mick with the “Endless Knights” for the elimination.

The 7th entrant is possibly the largest individual in SCW/ABW, Apollo Phoenix, “The Living Titan”. He shrugs off a few clothesline attempts by Knight but gets too overconfident as Knight is able to rock the big man with a superkick and he follows that up with another “Endless Knights” for the pinfall.
Out next is another promising rookie, Max Star. ABW Trainer “The Original” Jimmy King said Star is by far his best student ever. This showed as Star was very game but a knee injury derailed his chances. Star reversed an Irish whip by Knight who rebounded with a clothesline but Star’s leg planted wrong causing possible severe injuries. Star to his credit wouldn’t give up and it took a diving elbow drop from Knight to end Star’s change at The Gauntlet.

The last entrant is one of the most storied wrestlers in ABW, Eric “The Punisher” Ramirez. He is a former 2 time EHW champion and has an undefeated MMA career. The two square off and test the waters with leg kicks. Knight gets the better of him but on an attempted running knee he hits the turnbuckle instead. Punisher takes advantage of this possible injury by immediately locking in the dreaded ankle lock! Knight is able to make it to the ropes but then Ramirez nails Knight with a power bomb! It looks as though “The Punisher” is moving on. He nails Knight with a couple more forearms before going for his rolling elbow finisher he calls “The Contract” but Knight is able to duck it and plant Ramirez with “The Endless Knights” for the victory!

It would be a short lived celebration as Wally Whackit attacks Knight from behind with the belt and then hits him with the “Whackit and Smackit”. We go off the air with MRH and Wally having a staredown. Which champion will Knight pick!
